The film was nominated for a special presentation at the Hot Box Film Festival in Toronto, Canada next month, (the largest documentary film festival in North America). The feature will be on the "watch list" not just for hockey fans, but for all who have faced adversity.

Earlier this week, batting practice was rained out and couple of days before that we had a game rained out. When this happens it gives the players a little extra time to rest, but knowing our Yanks, they would rather be playing.

T-Bone has taken many chances on people even after being warned that the opportunity given to such individuals might backfire. He would take a chance anyway hoping that he could change a life. I know, I witnessed a few of them.

Dwight Gooden is very lucky because, during his worst moments, his baseball fathers showed him more love then anyone in his situation would’ve gotten from anybody else. People like Mel Stottlemyre are not that common in the business of baseball.
